Experience our beer on location at our five-acre family ranch a few miles from town. To ensure an intimate and exceptional customer experience, the brewery will be open by appointment only.
You are free to enjoy everything that Beer Ranch Project Inn has to offer. We are always looking to make sure our guests are happy and we continually update or add amenities and property features.
My husband, Max, and I own the property and although we are not on site nightly, we will be around as needed. We also have a wonderful property manager, Doug Kennon, and an amazing cleaning staff who services are studios between guests. Outdoor activities abound from swimming holes to hiking trails, starting with 81 acres at Jacobs Well Nature Area featuring the second largest fully submerged cave in Texas. The well feeds into Cypress Creek and Blue Hole Regional Park which then feeds into the Blanco River. Self-guided tours of the multiple parks and trails in Wimberley, including a hike to the top of Mt. Baldy for 360-degree views, make for invigorating and stress-free days of exploration. Continue your adventure with Wimberley Zipline as you glide over the Wimberley Valley hills, take in a glass blowing demonstration at Wimberley Glass Works, or visit one of our many area wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Our property is located in Downtown Wimberley, just steps away from the Wimberley Square. Feel free to leave your car in our parking lot and walk to town (parking can be hard). Or take a drive and visit the amazing scenery, breweries, wineries, shopping, and restaurants near by.
CLEANING STANDARDS
Although we've always maintained extremely high standard of cleaning in our inn, we are sanitizing and cleaning all surfaces according to the CDC recommendations. You should expect a thoroughly cleaned and fresh room.
Also, here at the Beer Ranch Project Inn we want you have all the freedom of staying at a vacation rental yet have comforts like a hotel, therefore we do not have any specific checkout procedures like stripping the bed linens or taking out the trash.
PET FEE
We love our furry friends (we have an Australian Shepard who is one of our family members) so dogs are loved and welcome at the Beer Ranch Project Inn, but we ask that you notify us in advance. There is pet fee, which is charged during the reservation process. Also, we charge for any items that are damaged or cannot be properly cleaned.

Kathryn’s Place at Beer Ranch Project was just perfect! Very clean & right off the main road just a few minutes walk to downtown Wimberley. We will definitely be back! My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s bungalow. The bed was very comfortable and the large rainfall shower amazing. Also, the 2 large chairs in the room were inviting and cozy. So, the most important aspects were great! However, the sliding bathroom door had no track and therefore wobbled and often slid open. Also, the hand towel rack was halfway broken off of the wall. The bedroom floor was concrete and thus could use either carpeting or some large rugs -- for both comfort and safety. Lastly, it would be great if a couple of small tables were available (possibly folding ones?) so that an “end table” of sorts could be used at the side of the bed as well as in the bathroom to hold toiletries. With these relatively small fixes, I would give this place a 5-star in the future. We had a short stay for our Anniversary weekend getaway but it was Definitely worth it - Super cute place, very clean & close to everything- Kathryn was extremely helpful & the place was cozy and we loved the atmosphere- Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!! Walked everywhere we needed to go from Kathryn’s. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was luxe. As stated in previous reviews the property is on a heavily trafficked road but the traffic dies down by 11:30. There is a coffee shop very near by. Kathryn is communicative. Clean comfortable Great for a mini vacay!!
